Balurghat, 11 September :A sit and draw competition was organized at Baluchaya Sabhagri in Balurghat town of Dakshin Dinajpur under the initiative of Shishu-Kishore Academy and in collaboration with the District Information and Culture Department. It has been learnt that a total of 80 contestants participated in the competition in two categories. Also, a similar sit and draw competition was organized at Devi Court Bhawan in Gangarampur block Dakshin Dinajpur district for contestants of Gangarampur sub-division. The enthusiasm of the contestants around today’s competition was palpable.
Rajesh Kumar Mandal, Info-Culture Officer of Dakshin Dinajpur said, “the competition is being organized by the shishu Kishore academy where around 80 contestants including from Nivedita and Suvayan home took part. In Gangarampur too, a similar competition was held “.
