A magical evening by Balurghat shilpi mancha

Balurghat:Balurghat Shilpi Mancha presented an enthralling musical night ‘Sangeet Snat 25’at the Natya Mandir in Balurghat on Sunday. After “Anveshan”, “Eiktan”, “Murchna” from last 14th July, Sunday 17th July was the last programme of this phase of Balurghat Shilpi Manch named “Eternal”. Honourable District Magistrate  Bijin Krishna, District Chief Hon’ble  Rahul De , eminent tabla player  Mangopal Dhar (Sunuda) ,  and other dignitaries were present in this magical evening in the fusion of North Bengal – South Bengal based music mainly on classical music maestroes.
The event was started with an outstanding performance by Rajarshi Goswami, cultural editor of Shilpi Manch , followed by the welcome speech by  Debashish Khan , secretary of the organization.
The main event was attended by the students of Pandit Siddharth Roy Chowdhury’s ‘Bistaar’ Educational Institution
After this, ‘Sufi Bhajan’ was performed by eminent musician Praveer Khan , founder member of Shilpi Manch.
In the last episode, Pandit Asim Chowdhury and Shri Mainak Banerjee enchanted the audience with the intoxicating tune of the sitar and the duet of the tabla.
On this day, the members of Balurghat Shilpi Manch gave greetings to every child artist who participated in ‘Bistaar’and ‘Exploration’ .Mayurika Rajak and Sanjay Karmakar were the presenters of the magical musical night.
