Balurghat, 17 August: Balurghat college authority felicitated 10 former students of Balurghat college who have become successful in different all India level competitive entrance examination held during the academic session of 2021-2022.
The students were given Rs 10000 cash as incentive and a memento from the college authority at a programme held at the auditorium hall of the college today.
A seminar on moral values namely ‘Jibone Mulyobodh’ was also organized on this occasion where Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj delivered his valuable preaching on morality and its values in human life.
Principal of Balurghat college Pankaj Kundu said, “during the academic year 2021-2022 a good number of former students of our college have qualified for higher studies at different famous institutions across the country. We have felicitated 10 such students today. We are really proud of them. They have brightened the name of our college.There was also a session on moral values where Swami Divyanandaji Maharaj enriched us with his moral teachings”.
