- Balurghat, 26November : A traveller from Balurghat died unnaturally in a hotel at Port Blair in Andaman. Name of the deceased is Debjani Moitra 62.She was the wife of Madan mohan Moitra, former headmaster of Nadipar NC high School in Balurghat.Sources said that a five-member team from Balurghat reached Andaman this morning through a Kolkata based travel agency . They were supposed to return Kolkata on December 3.The deceased reportedly became unconscious in washroom. She was rescued by the hotel staff and sent to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Initially,it is assumed that she died of cerebral attack. However, post-mortem would be done later.
