Balurghat, 30November : Park-hoppers in Balurghat would no longer have to go outside to have snacks.
Based on the theme of Experience Bengal,a new cafeteria was inaugurated ‘at Shishu Udyan on Balurghat.It has been learnt that the women of the Chakbhrigoo Begamba Mahila Sangh Bhumukhi Cooperative Society will run the cafeteria.
District Magistrate of South Dinajpur District Bijin Krishna, Superintendent of Police Rahul Dey, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Nasim, Additional District Magistrate Abdul Kalam Islam, Municipal Chairman Ashok Mitra, Vice Chairman Pradipta Chakraborty and others were present in this opening ceremony today. Common people have applauded this initiative of the district administration to make self-reliant women of self-reliance groups.
