Balurghat, 4December: A person was seriously injured after he accidentally fell from railway compartment.
The incident happened at Balurghat.
Sources said that the person named Milan Sarkar, son of Dhirendranath Sarkar of Muraripur under Hili police station accidentally fell from the Balurghat bound Gour link Express this morning.
He was, however rescued by police and sent to the district hospital in Balurghat. As his conditions deteriorated, he was reportedly referred to Malda Medica college and Hospital.
