Balurghat, 4 September :Her age is only 2 years and 6 months. Pratyayi Sarkar of Balurghat registered at this age,her name in the India Book of Records for her brilliant memory in chanting Vedic mantras , Sanskrit verses, national anthem and poetry at such a young age. The family and people of the area are happy with the achievement of the little girl.

Pratyoee is the only child of teacher couple Praveer Sarkar and Parineeta Bhowmik of Uttamashapara of Balurghat.
It has been learnt that Pratyoee showed signs of remarkable memory from the very beginning of learning to speak convincingly. Mother Parineeta Devi used to recite English words to all the songs at bedtime. After hearing it once, she started telling them exactly from the next day. She can even recite Sanskrit verses, national anthem rhymes and Vedic mantras. Not only that, she can easily memorise the pictures of various festivals, letters, geometric names, flowers, fruits, animals, and their English names. Seeing this extraordinary memory of the child, the parents applied for the India Book of Records-2022 on July 16. After the application, his memory is also tested according to certain procedures and rules. Finally, after passing the test, Pratyayi’s name was added to the India Book of Records-2022. Recently the child has also been awarded medals and certificates of appreciation from the authority of India Book of records.
