Balurghat, 20 September :The local residents blocked the Balurghat -Tapan State highway at Jalghar more for hours demanding immediate repair of Jalghar -Telapukur rural road.
Locals alleged that several parts of the Jalghar to Telapukur road remained in deplorable condition for several months. After the rainfall if became worse.
Because of this, the locals started protesting by blocking the Balurghat Tapan state road from this morning. Later the situation came under control with the intervention of administration.
