Kumarganj, 10September :4 youths from Kumarganj set out from South Dinajpur with the intention of meeting Abhishek Banerjee by walking 480 km. Taimur Haque Sarkar, Rabiul Molla, Pintu Majumdar and Nirmal Baishmali started the march from Molla Dighi of Kumarganj police station in South Dinajpur.
Taimur Haque Sarkar who participated in the march said, “we have initiated the march to put forward a message in West Bengal and entire country that Abhishek Banerjee under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee  will be the ideal of harmony and unity in the coming days for the entire nation especially after 2024 parliamentary election”.
Notably, this march is being organized   not under any political banner, though the youths are known as activists of TMC.
“We are representing the area and the residents of the area. Our political identity does not matter here ”Taimur added.
The padayatra will end at the office of Abhishek Banerjee in Kolkata. Four participants of the march will meet Abhishek

Banerjee there.
District Trinamool president Mrinal Sarkar appreciated such move, “it is very commendable. We would assist them on the way”.
Ujjal Basak, Trinamool ‘s block president and Amborish Sarkar, Trinamool district Youth president also praised the youths for such Padyatra.
